Methodist, Baptist, United Brethren, and Christians organized the Red Hill Methodist Church. The circuit preacher only held services one Sunday a month with other denominations holding services on the other Sundays.

Probably all preachers received the traditional "Pounding" with canned goods, baked goods and garden produce. Red Hill was a very generous community. The preacher and his family always had Sunday dinner with a member's family.

Red Hill was on the Vigo Park Circuit except for a few times on the Tulia Circuit. The 1944 Annual Conference report showed Red Hill with ten active members and three inactive members. The last Conference report on record mentioning Red Hill was the Conference held Feb. 2,1947.

In an election held March 29, 1947 it was voted to consolidate many of the small schools and Red Hill was one of these. Knowing that the school building, also serving as a church, would be

removed the Red Hill Methodist church disbanded and most of the members moved their membership to Vigo Park.
